Instant Pot Corned Beef

Using an Instant Pot to cook the corned beef can reduce the overall cooking time by about 50% and still result in a delicious and tender product.


3-4 lb Grobbel's Gourmet corned beef, rinsed

1 spice packet, included with the corned beef, opened

16 oz beef stock, chicken stock, or water

2 cloves garlic, smashed

1 onion roughly chopped


  1. Place all ingredients in the Instant Pot and seal the lid. Set to cook for 75 minutes. After 75 minutes of cooking, let the steam release naturally for 15 minutes then open the lid.
  2. The corned beef can be served immediately, held warm in the Instant Pot, or cool and stored with the cooking liquid for up to 7 day. When ready to serve, slice thinly against the grain and serve with your desired sides and condiments.
