With this irresistible blend of sweet and spicy notes, you can create a savory dish which contains flavor elements everyone will love.

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
  • Remove corned beef from packaging and place in an oven-proof pan. Add 1” of water to the pan. For a more robust flavor, add desired amount of enclosed spice packet to water. Tightly seal the pan with a lid or foil.
  • Place the pan into the oven.
  • Cook for approximately 2.5 – 3 hours or until firmly fork tender. Internal temperature should be at least 160°F for food safety; for optimal tenderness, cook to an internal temperature of 190°F.
  • Increase oven temperature to 400 or turn on broiler.
  • Prepare glaze by mixing together horseradish, vinegar, mustard, and molasses. Brush glaze on all sides of meat.
  • Place the glazed corned beef on a sheet tray or oven-proof pan and return it to the oven.
  • Bake, brushing a few more times with glaze, 10–20 minutes or until glaze begins to brown.
  • Cut 1/8″ slices across the grain.
  • For a complete and hearty meal, serve with desired vegetables.
